Whittle & Johnson Custom Homes is excited to announce that we are partnering with Children’s Relief International in their Green Door Homes Project.  This project is focused on building homes in Mozambique, Africa for the poor, the widowed, and the orphaned.

It is our mission to partner with this international organization based right here in our hometown, Rockwall, Texas, using a one to one charitable giving plan. For every custom home we build here, we will build a home in Mozambique.

One of the most moving and powerful aspects about this process is the connection we encourage our custom home clients to make.  We invite our clients to share in the experience of the selecting which family in Mozambique receives this wonderful gift.  Each family is vetted through Children’s Relief International and their stories are shared through a video interview posted online.

The Green Door Homes in the villages of Mozambique provide safety and security to the recipient families.  Green Door families no longer have to worry about their homes flooding during the rainy season.  Threat of theft is no longer a stress because they now have a front door that locks.  Illness and death from Malaria is reduced because families are now able to keep mosquitoes out.
